Lobster Boat Freed West Island, MA

http://www.westislandweather.com The grounded lobster boat that got a lot of attention today (Oct 13, 2009) on the south side of the West Island Causeway was finally freed this afternoon by the Fairhaven Natural Resources Boat commandeered by Fairhaven Harbormaster David Darmofal and Shellfish Warden Timothy Cox. Robert D. "Hoppy" Hobson, lobsterman and BPW Commissioner also arrived on scene to render assistance with his powerful 200 HP lobster boat. (in foreground).
