The Queensland government has flagged a decision may be made on Monday to ease restrictions, depending on the latest coronavirus figures. The move comes two weeks after two Logan women who acquired the virus in Victoria allegedly lied at the border after travelling to Brisbane from Melbourne. The pair spent eight days working and socialising while infected, prompting fears of an outbreak in Queensland. Only five cases of coronavirus were linked to the women, however Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young warned the public to follow health advice in a bid to reduce the risk of community transmission.
