The #2ks during the #napster era #bootleg #albums were a significant part of my #hiphop and #dancehall #music #collection - The #digitalmusic age was just beginning and I couldn't figure out how to digitize my #records and cassettes. Not ONE of the #bootlegalbums are pirated or from a p2p file sharing system. 💿 I either bought all of those and a) copied my own cd. B) "borrowed" someone elses #cd. c) took advantage of HMVs return policy and copied about 10 albums per 1 purchase, I always kept the 10th. 😂 The track playing is shown on the #albumjacket to start my #hiphop journey is #Bahamadia - #uknowhowwedo - she wrote in hashtag style before there was one. - I interned at Virgin Music back in the day and I got a ton of free vinyl and #compactdiscs 💿 lots were white labels because they knew I was a blossoming #DJ. #the2000s #femalehiphop #hiphopmusic
