Race 2 at Rockingham, and boy was it wet! The suspension changes I had just finished in prep for a dry race was all wrong for a wet race, and when did it rain? When it was too late to change the setup again. For this race I had qualified P22 (out of 26), which wasn't bad considering my qualifying problems. I've never been a confident racer in the wet, I really dislike it, but after race 1, I was feeling confident, and I went out there without a worry. I knew I'd be much slower in the wet, but then again so would everyone else. I'd spent race one learning where the rear would break away on the bends, and knew I could easily induce lift off oversteer, so I went out on track with that as my plan to get around the bends, which worked, much better than I imagined. I got a great start, and had a brill battle with Phil Goodwin, who managed to steal the position from me when I locked up heading into turn 2. You'll see me jam the handbrake on, but with no effect. This was to try and bring the rear round a bit and hopefully stay on the track. After this, there was no chance of me catching up, so I spent the next half of the race practicing for further wet racing. I finished with a P7 in Class and P19 overall, which I was happy with considering the weather.
