Spadel together with Water Access Rwanda and CO2logic developed the Water For Climate Project in Rwanda. Christelle Kwizera founder of Water Access Rwanda explains the impacts of the project and how Spadel contributed to this. Due to the installations of new water wells, rural people regain access to save drinking water. This is highly beneficial for their health but it also has a positive impact on the climate and the local ecosystem. Before the project people had to boil water in order to purify it. With direct access to save water, the demand for firewood is a lot lower, which protects the forest.
