THE GOODWOOD FESTIVAL AND VINTAGE CARS RACE EVENT #GoodwoodrRevival #VintageCarsRace I had such a wonderful time in England at the Goodwood festival. I was invited by my father in law to his favorite vintage car show event last weekend in Chichester. We got dropped off at Newry bus station very early in the morning then took a bus to Belfast city airport and flew to Southampton. When we arrived at the airport Anne (my aunt in law who married Peter) was waiting there. Peter was not there as he was busy at home. Anne was also invited her friend William who also flew from Nothern Ireland in the same flight as us to stay over as well as us for the festival. Soon the introduction finished quickly, we jumped into the car and we all went straight home. Once we got to Anne's house, we got a warm greeting from Peter and he was so delighted to see us too. Anne quickly guided us to our rooms. My father in law, William were staying next to Anne and Peter's room and I stayed in the Orchid's room. It was not bad. Afterward, we all came downstairs and I had a cup of tea so did the rest of them. In the evening Anne and Peter treated us to the Italian food. It was their favorite place in town. The food was delicious and the conversations were also great. In the next day in the morning, everyone was up very early as they were so excited like me. My father in law dressed up very fancy with this favorite hat that he got for his birthday. My aunt in law was wearing the pink dress that made her sister. It looked very pretty on her. Peter outfit was classy, especially with his hat. William was well prepared. Even though it was his first time, he got all the right outfit for the festival. I wore casual clothes as I thought I look cool with the way I wore that day. After they got dressed up Anne, Peter, and Jonathan their breakfast to keep them going. William and I didn't have breakfast because we wanted to eat when we get there and we could not wait for the festival. After we finished the morning meal they journey began. On the way there we five tried to get into a Mini which wasn't big enough to fit five British adults. Anne was driving, William was in the front Peter, Jonathan and I were crushing up in the back. After an hour journey, we safely arrived at the Goodwood. Jonathan hurt his back because he was a little tall than everyone. He didn't feel much comfortable but we all did it at the end. The festival was absolutely wonderful. Everyone dressed up so marvelous. I felt like I was in the other country like English modern world but back into the World war II. Everyone was wearing fancy high-class clothes and very outstanding. I used to see them in an American film. That how I described how it was like I could imagine. They were so many vintage cars and some of them probably cost 2-3 million pounds on the displays. The collection of shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants were designed for the 1960s. There was also the vintage car racing field that they raced every 30 minutes and many other magnificent things were on that day. If you wanted to see all of these, spent a day there wasn't enough to explore all of these activities at the festival but I was so pleased that I went. It was one of my favorite events since I came to Britain. Thanks to my father in law for this invitation and I absolutely loved it. https://www.instagram.com/p/BncX16ogA...
