4th flight on my Value Hobby EPP Laser, best bang for your buck out there! $25 plus shipping, builds fast, its a kit so you have to supply your own electronics, but its a deal. First flight my aileron hinges broke, so Id recommend beefing those up with blenderm or something before even flying it. I'm running 3s on mine with micro digital servos. Im still getting it dialed in CG and throw wise, but its an awesome indoor or evening flyer! http://www.valuehobby.com/airplanes/e... The laser is constructed from 8mm EPP sheet. 8mm EPP is much stiffer and more durable than 3mm or 5mm EPP, so less reinforcements are required. The fuselage and wing incorporates one carbon fiber square tube and strip. The assembly is easy because you don't need to connect carbon fiber rods between the fuselage and wings for reinforcements.
