Yummus Hummus | Ayden's Delicious Dishes

YUMMUS HUMMUS INGREDIENTS 1 (15.5 oz.) can chickpeas 4 teaspoons minced garlic ¼ teaspoon kosher salt ¾ teaspoon roasted ground cumin ½ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper ¾ teaspoon paprika ¼ cup tahini paste 3-4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons lemon juice ½ of the liquid inside of the can of chickpeas DIRECTIONS Strain chickpeas over bowl so that the aquafaba (liquid in the can) is separated. Save for later use. Rinse the chickpeas. Put the chickpeas into the bowl of the food processor. Add spices: salt, ground cumin, ground cayenne pepper, and paprika. Add lemon juice, minced garlic, and tahini paste. Add about half of the aquafaba. Process on low setting until you have a smooth creamy mixture. Let it keep going on a low setting while slowly pouring in 3 tablespoons of olive oil, a tablespoon at a time. Turn off processor and stir and taste mixture, if needed add more olive oil, a teaspoon at a time. Transfer hummus into covered container and store in fridge until ready to eat. When serving, place hummus in a glass bowl or plate, indent the middle, place a small amount of olive oil to pool in the middle, and sprinkle with some ground paprika on top.
