Chicago Bears News continues to come in as Bears’ GM Ryan Poles has sounded off following Roquan Smith’s trade request. Bears fan fest took place at Soldier Field today following Smith’s trade request from the team. Smith was present at the Bears stadium as was Poles who addressed the media after today’s practice. Poles said his “feelings for Roquan haven’t changed at all” and that his “intention” is to sign the LB to a long-term contract. He also adds that he feels like the Bears have been fair in contract negotiations and that the Bears offer has included “record-setting prices” in the deal.
