Is Hello Fresh Actually Worth It??

Emily & I recently had the opportunity to try out Hello Fresh! We have heard and seen about hello fresh for a while now, and we thought maybe we should just try it! If you are a subscriber to our channel, by now you know that Emily is a great cook and LOVES to make EVERYTHING from scratch. But with her being a country music artist and traveling all the time it makes for a very busy schedule and sometimes it is tough to find the time to grocery shop/meal plan and cook meals when we are home all the time! We tried out 3 meals from hello fresh to give our true opinion on the experience! This meal delivery service costs $79 for 3 meals (6 total servings) but there are always deals going on to get that for cheaper if you want to try it. After using it, here is our honest opinion... This product is cheaper than eating out, but more expensive than normal grocery shopping and eating at home. The food all comes very fresh and delivered to your door each week which is exactly what you're paying for. It is a convenience item...and let me tell ya.. it was very convenient. This service saves you the time of grocery shopping, meal planning, and prepping. Each meal package comes with all the ingredients you need to prepare that meal and no extra waste.. it also comes a recipe/instruction card to make it simple for anyone to cook. The final reason Emily and I did enjoy Hello Fresh is because it helped us try out of the box recipes that we typically would never make at home.. and we LOVED them. All in all here is our recap.. Pros -fresh -delivered to door -no grocery shopping or meal planning -try new recipes -no wasted food -cheaper than eating out Cons -more expensive than normal grocery/eating at home -you do still have a process to prep/cook these meals, but they have options for easier prep meals if you prefer not to spend as much time cooking If you have the money, I think we can honestly say that we enjoyed hello fresh and would recommend this service! We are going to continue to try it out for a little while and see if we continue to enjoy it!! Here is the recipe for Emilys cookies in this video!
