Instant karma + Hit & run - Aggressive driver causes crash *Read description

CA-60 Eastbound in Ontario, CA - A Saturn driver who was tailgating me and other drivers very aggressively ends up swerving over two lanes and causing a Dodge Ram to hit him. He wound up sideways in his lane and stopping traffic. The Ram driver refused to stop, forcing the Saturn driver to chase after him. After dropping my sisters off at their destination, I went looking for the drivers and found only the Saturn driver pulled over a few miles from the crash site. He had already called the police, who did not show up. I showed him the footage, called the police again, and stayed with him until they finally showed up, then spoke with the officer before leaving. From what I can recall, the driver's explanation for the crash was basically that he was trying to avoid rear ending a motorcyclist, so he swerved and the truck hit him and spun him out. He never took the blame for the crash. However, talking to this driver really humanized him for me. I may have been laughing at him before, but after chatting with him, I felt bad and almost didn't tell the officer about his prior behavior. Unfortunately, I never received an update.
