#superintelligentone #superintelligentone'sworld #karolinaprotsenko #karolinaprotsenkoviolin I found that Karolina and her family have home movies that most fans don't get to see. I'm going to re-post the ones that I think are the most interesting. In this video, Karolina is excited as her father Nik drives her to Studio Class over at the prestigious Colburn School of Music in downtown Los Angeles. She tells us that she'll be performing E. Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole, 1st Movement on her new high-quality violin for the first time before an audience. SIO's Eagle Eyes: Karolina is wearing a white T-shirt that says "Brooklyn, New York" with view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the skyline behind it, blue-grey pinstripe pants, and white sneakers with blue laces. As the video starts, Karolina is being driven by her dad, Nik, in their Lincoln Navigator SUV on the way to Studio Class in downtown Los Angeles. Karolina tells the Home Viewer that she's really really excited. At 40 sec, Karolina closes the right rear passenger door when they are inside of the parking garage. She is holding her black violin case, along with a yellow booklet of her music. At 43 sec, as they are walking to the elevator, Nik says "It's empty. Empty parking (lot)." Karolina replies "It is. Maybe because it's a Saturday night, and because it's summer." Nik adds " I think also, a lot of students (are) out of L.A." At 52 sec, Karolina press the Up Button next to the sign that indicates "Lower Level Parking, The Colburn School, 200 Grand Avenue." Nik says "You are going to be playing ..." Karolina replies "Lalo, with the pianist." In her arms, Karolina is carrying a yellow booklet, that reads "Schirmer's Library, Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole, for Violin and Piano" At 59 sec, the doors of the elevator opens. As Karolina enters, Nik notes "No one is here. Awesome." Karolina the presses the ML Button for the Main Level, the presses the Close Door button. At 1:04 sec, Karolina is standing on the stage waiting for her pianist to start. The woman starts playing the introduction to Édouard Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole. I can't see much of her face, but I believe that she is Jen Choi Fischer. At 1:11 sec, Karolina begins to play. At 8:28 sec, Karolina finishes with a flourish of her bow. Her accompanist plays the remaining bars on the piano. The audience applauds. WAs she takes her bow, we see that the audience consists of 7 teenage students and 3 adults. One of the adults is Karolina's violin teacher Sam Fischer. * At 8:40 sec, Nik is shooting video with his selfie-stick as he & Karolina walk down the stairs to their parking level. He complements her, saying "it was excellent. Terrific performance. (I'm so) proud of you." Karolina replies "Yeah.". Nik continues "It was amazing, I enjoyed (your concert) so much. And the violin sounds amazing. Beautiful." Karolina replies "Thank you. I loved playing so much. I just felt so expressive and so well prepared. And my fingers were really like, just fired up." At 8:57 sec "Nik says "Amazing. Amazing." Karolina says "I think I did a good job." At 8:59 sec, Nik asks "How was your finger?" Karolina replies "My finger hurts." Then she shows her injury, saying "And this is the finger. It's always the third finger." At 9:11 sec, a woman calls out "Good job. I like your song (playing)." Nik and Karolina simultaneously reply "Thank you so much." Karolina continues "Yeah, it (her 3rd finger) recovers pretty fast, but it just hurts when vibrating or sliding (the string) into the finger (injury). But it's fine." Nik wants to hurry home as he says "Let's go home. The camera is (running out of power).
