Youth Service Awards honors students' community service

The Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism awarded students Wednesday for their community service in Maryland. The event was the inaugural Youth Service Awards, which recognized more than a dozen students from all over the state for their contributions to their communities. Several students from Severna Park High School received the honor for their work creating the organization Our Minds Matter, which aims to destigmatize mental health.
