How Christ fulfilled the law Part 1 - A review of Matthew 5:17

In Matthew 5:17, Jesus said he had not come to destroy the law and the prophets but to fulfill. Some believed that Christ utterance here means that the law must be preserved, continue, and have dominion over man. Christ was actually telling the people that he had come to fulfill the prophecies (like unto us a son is given in Isaiah 9:6; "In thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed Genesis 12:3, Of great importance is that Christ came to fulfill the law by taking the punishment we would have received. #ChrishFulfilledTheLaw #TheLaw
