ZERO Padding from Japan… How many Sega Saturns will Work?!

ZERO Padding from Japan… How many Sega Saturns will Work?!

Five more Sega Saturns just arrived from Japan… and this might be the worst packaging job I’ve ever seen. The box is busted, the consoles are basically sitting right under the cardboard, and the “padding” is a few scraps of paper. 😬 So… did they survive? In this episode we unbox the final lot of 5 (including a Model 1 and a bunch of Model 2s), power-test every console, and chase down the weird problems we find — from dim LEDs / flaky power to a CD drive spindle that’s literally jammed down into the disc. We also crack one open and discover the previous owner’s “repair” included… wood screws. Yep. Against all odds, this shipment turns into the best surprise of the whole Japan import series. ✅ Final results: 5 out of 5 working (with minimal fixes) 📦 Series total: 12 working Saturns out of 15 for $444 (under $40 each) Next step: converting these for US power the right way — because we can’t expect anyone to run a step-down transformer forever.
