The NBA shocked the world again! Last night we had 2 overtime thrillers. A couple more insane endings that came down to the last possession… A franchise player saying goodbye to his city, and a whole lot more from a very chaotic night. So let’s start in Charlotte where the Hornets after dismantling the OKC Thunder just 2 days ago, were leading by double digits in the 4th quarter against Toronto as well. But Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett were balling last night, and they weren’t gonna let the Raptors lose grip of this one. The former Knicks duo orchestrated a 14 to 3 run and took over the lead in just 4 minutes. However, the Hornets had a surprising uplift from the once dynamo off the bench Collin Sexton. With 8 of his 22 points in the last period, Sexton gave the Hornets a 3 point lead. But RJ was even hotter on the other end. Barrett was in the zone, scoring 16 of his 28 points when they needed him the most. And after a couple of free throws by Miles Bridges on the other side, RJ was back at work in the clutch. So, with time winding down, who’s going to step up for the Hornets? Lamelo Ball waltzes his way to the rim like it’s the 1st quarter to send Eric and the entire crowd into a delirium.
