Refugees, the “Save Our Souls” igloo shelter made of life jackets

NEWS (Rome) "S.O.S. - Save Our Souls" is the artistic installation made of life jackets that UNHCR has brought to the MAXXI in Rome to mark World Refugee Day. As Carlotta Sami, UNHCR spokesperson for Southern Europe, explains, it was conceived by Achilleas Souras, a young Greek, who expressed his personal and artistic impression of the constant migrant landings on the island of Lesbos.
