"Significant Positive Step" In COVID-19 Fight: Remdesivir Shows Promise Against Coronavirus
Remdesivir is an antiviral drug that has been around for 10 years and it is now showing promise in the treatment of COVID-19 Early data that was released Wednesday from a global study revealed that patients who were given the drug, were less likely to die and recovered faster. However, there was another study released the same day in the British medical journal, The Lancet, which found no clinical benefits to the drug.
