Chapter 86: At-Tariq (The Morning Star) - English Translation of the Holy Quran. Sūrat aṭ-Ṭāriq (In Arabic: الطارق‎, “The Piercing Star”, “The Nightcomer”, literally “The Knocker”) is the 86th chapter or sura of the holy Quran with seventeen verses or ayats. This surah/chapter was sent to prophet Mohammed (PUH) when he was in Mecca. This chapter discuses 2 themes: first that man has to appear before Allah/God after death; second, that the holy Quran is a decisive Word which no plan or device of the disbelievers can defeat or frustrate.
