Hot Weather on this 4th of July with Isolated PM T'Storms

Good morning and happy 4th of July! Whether heading to the beaches... grilling out or heading to fireworks activities... it will be a hot Independence day for the region! No big surprise right! Upper level ridging will hold strong enough to only bring an isolated afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. With mostly sunny skies highs will warm into the mid to upper 90s inland... to around 90 on the islands. Heat indices from 102 to 107. This evening... a stray shower or thunderstorm will be around... but hopefully missing the hot spots for fireworks! Otherwise mostly clear skies tonight. Warm and rather muggy with lows in the mid 70s. Thursday and Friday weak upper level troughing to the east of the strong upper ridge back west will help to bring slightly better chances for some wet weather. With hit or miss showers or thunderstorms... highs will be seasonable... around 94. Lowered rain chances for the weekend... only 15 to 20 percent chance... with highs in the low 90s. Have a happy and safe 4th of July!
