India’s capital New Delhi might lift COVID-19 restrictions soon as daily cases have fallen sharply. One in 10 in the capital are now testing positive for the virus, compared to one in three a few days ago. While the third wave appears to have peaked in large cities, experts have warned that the situation could worsen in rural areas.
