Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Nov 26 20 A

Wow, it's been three months since the last Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I really let this fall by the wayside. Speaking of other games I haven't put stuff up in for a while, due to increased demand lately, I have Super Mario Maker 2's "Your Courses #29" recorded. I just have to edit the videos and make a suitable thumbnail for it. Race #1 150cc Animal Crossing (Winter) Hey, this is a season that, if you're playing the game as intended, has not yet appeared in New Horizons! At least at the time that I'm typing this. I think the characters lining the streets are a lot more recognizable than they were at this same time last year, in any case. I think at this point, every character visible in this course has appeared in New Horizons, though not all of the facilities are here, undoubtedly because their functions have been compressed to require fewer characters. This village has a lot of wolves though. Race #2 150cc GCN Yoshi Circuit If you thought the ending of that last race, the one in Animal Crossing, was an anomaly, you'd be wrong. This entire room was one the aggressive side, as you can see by how my ranking fluctuated up and down quite wildly. Usually, when a room is like this, it's because one person started it, and it escalates (or descends, depending on how you see it) into the racing equivalent of a bar room fistfight as everone's trying to bring each other down while others are trying to pull ahead and swerve around the roving minefield. Race #3 200cc Water Park I usually don't like Water Park as a course that much, but I feel it gets a lot more interesting in 200cc. Also, the typical aggressive nature of this room was cast aside the moment it became 200cc as the people normally prone to throwing projectiles everywhere become focused on just not crashing into everything, though Water Park is gentle enough that you can play a decent race as long as you concentrate. That was some weird being stuck to the walls on the first right turn of the second and third laps, however. Race #4 150cc Dolphin Shoals It seems that, because I was behind a pack of opponents, I was never once able to acquire an item from the Item Boxes in front of that eel. Nevertheless, despite the setbacks I received during the first two laps, the Boo I got at the beginning of the final lap really paid off for me handsomely by allowing me to quietly slip through what would've been the worst warzone of all of races in this video. Race #5 150cc DS Wario Stadium At least that Lightning Bolt struck after I crossed the finish line. (I realize I have neglected to use Rosalina or Baby Rosalina at least once in this video. Shame on me!)
