Half of patients in Erbil hospitals Arabs, despite lack of support from Baghdad

Erbil health officials say that the city’s hospitals are overwhelmed by large numbers of Arab patients brought from Mosul and other areas of Iraq. According to the Erbil Health Department, 50 percent of those visiting Erbil government hospitals on a daily basis are Arabs. They are provided all health care services free of charge. Despite this, Kurdish officials say, Baghdad does not properly send Kurdistan’s share of medical supplies or medicine.
