Alan Merrill, Meat Loaf

Alan Merrill is introduced to an audience in London England by Meat Loaf. Merrill was the singer and songwriter of the original version of "I love rock n roll" in 1975 with his band the Arrows. The song has been recorded by Joan Jett, Britney Spears, Showaddywaddy and others. Merrill has made quite a few solo albums since this clip was filmed in 1987.
