The city of Cherryville in North Carolina is working to restore power and address the damage caused by severe storms that hit the region on Tuesday night. Mayor of Cherryville, H.L. Beam, said the damage is significant and the city is currently under a state of emergency after dozens of people were displaced and one person was injured.
