Thoughts: This was a fun flight but a stressful one without the VR. I wouldn't know the difference in gameplay between using a regular controller vs a VR setup but all I can say is that it was tough and many times I would crash over a silly mistake. Above all else, I enjoyed the cinematics and the work behind to make the experience authentic to the Star Wars universe. I did however find the conversations a bit awkward, it dragged on and felt forced. The fact that you create 2 characters on both sides and barely even get to have them confront each other, much less interact in most of the conversations....just didn't quite sit well with me. The small variety of ships, customization options before heading out to each mission was sort of nice especially if you have a specific type of style because trust me, it made a difference. I was truly hoping I would have a choice to choose between who wins the war and expected a much better build up instead of having both sides win in different case scenarios/goals. If you're a Star Wars fan and liked playing the Battlefront games then maybe you'll enjoy the game as well along with the multiplayer.
