Stage 3 Jūbei Has Arrived! Sōki eventually encounters Akane “Jūbei” Yagyū, a young member of the Yagyū clan who inherited Oni powers from her grandfather, the same Jūbei Yagyū who defeated Nobunaga many decades ago. Joining forces with Sōki to infiltrate the location where the trees are being prepared to travel to Kyōto, Jūbei is revealed to have been sent by her grandfather to assassinate their clan's traitor, Munenori Yagyū.
