Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Hot, stormy weekend ahead

Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for July 22, 2022: It's the weekend Northeast Ohio, and it's also summertime. That typically means we can't get by without a storm chance and some heat--both would be okay for our area lawns, gardens, and farm fields...but we understand both those things could get in the way of any outdoor plans you may have. Let's time it out. Most hours will be dry this weekend, so there's that. We do however, have to contend with several complexes of storms that are expected to develop well to our northwest that will likely clip or directly impact northeast Ohio. The first complex of storms is expected to develop tonight towards Wisconsin and Michigan. We're likely to watch the remnants of these storms move through southwest Ohio early Saturday. Depending on how large this complex of storms gets tonight, we could get clipped by some rain and rumbles Saturday. Another round of storms is expected to develop late Saturday in the same locations. This could bring another round of storms through here Saturday night into early Sunday. The best chance of storms for us locally will develop Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. This round could be on the strong side depending on how the earlier storms play out. Jason Mikell has more: https://www.wkyc.com/article/weather/...
