When UPS dropped the package off and I picked it up, I was so surprised by the weight (very little). I couldn't think of anything I'd ordered that weighed just a few ounces... so when I opened the box and saw it was the throw, I thought, hmmmm... how could it be so LIGHT and still be warm and cozy??? I had been expecting something weightier... BUT.. when i unzipped the plastic protective bag it came in and pulled it out, it was LOVE LOVE LOVE immediately!! It may not weigh much on the scale, but it's WARM, and fluffy, and cozy, and everything you could want from a throw!! And, have I mentioned it is gorgeous? I'm absolutely thrilled, and I am going to shop now for one in another color for the bedroom. (This one is for the couch). Great throw. Love it. I will report back if my glowing review changes after the first wash, but if I don't - assume it came through the wash with flying colors. Update a few minutes later: I went back to get an additional one in another color, but found out that the other colors are different designs... The one I have is GRAY and has a lovely snowflake motif. The other colors on offer all seem a little (to be blunt...) ugly.. of course this is MY opinion, but I'm disappointed - would have loved the same design in a different color but will not order since the plaids and hearts on offer are not my taste. Oh well. I LOVE the gray one so will leave my review at 5 stars.
