First, start by adding a colored background and a basic text to your timeline. Once done, navigate to the start of the text and click on it. Open the inspector panel and go to the settings tab. To create the stretching and growing effect, click on the link button to unlink the zoom X and Y properties. Then, click on the diamond button next to zoom and set the zoom Y value to 0 to create the starting keyframe. Moving forward, press the right arrow key on your keyboard 5 times to shift 5 frames ahead. Set the zoom Y value to 1.2. Repeat this process by moving 5 frames forward and setting the zoom Y value to .9, and then again by moving 5 frames forward and setting the zoom Y value back to 1. Click on the keyframe button to visualize all the keyframes. For a smoother animation, move forward a little and click on the diamond button next to zoom to create a keyframe with the current value. Then, move forward 5 frames and set the zoom Y value to .9. Continue this pattern by moving forward 5 frames, setting the zoom Y value to 1.2, and moving forward 5 more frames to set the zoom Y value back to 0. Voila! You now have a captivating stretch text animation. However, if the animation doesn't start from the bottom of the text, simply select the transform option from the dropdown at the bottom of the viewer and move the small anchor point to the bottom of the text.
