Carrie Severino: How Did Roe Get Overturned?

This presentation will explain the significance of the current composition of the U.S. Supreme Court and the fifty years of judicial confirmation battles that led to the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health decision that overturned the Roe v. Wade in June of 2022. Severino will also discuss the implications of that decision for state supreme courts and the legal questions that remain.
