"The Bright Path and the Path of Power" For four years now, I've been isolated from social life. I've found study for myself; I'm gaining knowledge through school. I realize this is my dark path and that I'm missing something. I'm trying to figure out a way to realize myself, to find my place among people in the system of power, in which I exist and don't exist at the same time, and this is very burdensome. How can I know when the time has come to step into the light? Perhaps my path should only be dark, since the current rulers are forbidding me from stepping out for some reason? But then I feel incomplete, as if I'm standing on one leg. I want to create new policies and rules based on different principles, but is the time yet? Your path is not dark, since all the signs point to a bright path, especially since we're talking about power. Power is always public authority, especially since it's always a bright path. How, in this case, does the bright path differ from the dark one? Because a magician on the path of light is always with people, they spread themselves like sunlight to everyone, not to anyone in particular, but to everyone. A person is free to either hide in the shadows or sunbathe. So it is with power; it spreads to everyone. Those who want to retreat into the shadows will leave, those who want to remain in the light will remain. Your path now lies within yourself, because you are going through a stage of development; you need to acquire new qualities. These qualities can only be acquired within yourself for now, and only then can they be brought into the light. It's like the Sumerian tablets: before the writing can be written on them, you need a piece of clay that is inside, in the darkness, in the earth. Then you need to shape it, write the writing, and place it in the light, so that the light makes these writings rock-hard, indestructible. This is sometimes what happens with the magical development of consciousness. Perhaps you are now going through this path of inner maturation. Sooner or later, you will emerge.
