Vell Baria receives the INAP Award for Performing Arts at the 7th ANCA World Autism Festival

Vell Baria's Acceptance speech as INAP awardee for Performing Arts Adult Vell made her emotional speech at the INAP Awards night last October 1, 2016 at Vancouver, Canada as part of ANCA autism festival. This was the first performing arts win for the Philippines. SUMMARY OF THE SPEECH: The hysterical Vell got her speech long due to her mixed emotions of being happy and emotional whereas this award was her first international award to date! She also included in her speech the recognition to other TEAM PHILIPPINES Delegates with pride and honour for their efforts to be finalists for the awards in their respective categories as well. Thanking also the Philippine Consul General Mr. Ferrer and to the nominator Ms. Catherine Cham for Vell's nomination in the performing arts as a first for Philippines. She also explains hardships of seeking funds to attend the world autism festival. She also thanked the collaborators - the Pianists Katarina Simic (UBC student) and Beryl Zorlu (representing Turkey and 3rd place INAP Award Recipient). Vell thanked the panel of juries for their trust in all winner's talents and skills (including special recognition awardees). She also thank all the audience here for their interest and appreciation on Vell's magnificent and unique talent (that was surprising to their hearts). She also speak a line of words in French where she thank ANCA for giving her a chance to showcase her talent as pop and classical singer in which it was an honor for her. Lastly, she thanked Canada and ANCA for making her dreams come true. As a Catholic-Christian with autism, Vell shares that God's enlightenment will make autism as a part of life and not a disease but a positive disease of happiness. :)
