Automobile Association welcomes decreases in fuel prices: Layton Beard

The Automobile Association of South Africa says it welcomes decreases in fuel prices as motorists are expected to get some relief at the pumps in September. Although fuel prices are still higher than January levels, it will be a breather for motorists. In a statement, the AA has quoted CEF's figures, where ULP95 petrol is expected to be lower by around R2.35/l while ULP93 is set for a drop of around R2.18/l. Diesel is expected to drop by between 77 and 87 cents/ l while illuminating paraffin will drop by around 82c/l.
