Queen Live in Berlin, West Germany Date: 28th April, 1978 Venue: Deutschlandhalle Attendance: 11,000 Audience Recording Quality: B+ Though many of the post-Rotterdam shows are pretty decent at best, this is one is pretty special. Freddie sounds quite strong tonight and the band are absolutely killing it. What makes this gig pretty special on the leg along side second Rotterdam is the revival of Big Spender. Last played on the Races tour, the song would be played pretty rarely with it next played at one of the Inglewood show later on in the year and next year at their third night in Paris. A tiny fraction of this show was broadcasted on German television with some very short, high quality footage of We Will Rock You (Fast). The quality of this tape is pretty great, so it’s a recommended listen overall.
