I just bought a new house with my wife and I am updating all lighting to use LED. I owned the first version of the Cree 2700K Soft White LED bulb and chose the newest version (4 Flow Filament Design) based on the fact that it has been Energy Star certified as well as cleared for use in enclosures. It is a great bulb and only uses 10 watts per bulb as well as being more in the shape of a traditional incandescent bulb due to the heat sink being removed from the base.
