GRE Vocab Wednesday - Words from April Article (Part I)

This means appropriate, or suitable. This word has no relationship to "opposite!" Word #2: "Vociferous." This word means outspoken. Someone vociferous has strong opinions and makes them known. Word #3: "Acquiesce." Acquiesce is to give in quietly and without protest; to submit. Word #4: "Blasphemous." This refers to speaking badly of anything that is held as sacred or that should be honored and respected.
