Ship and harbor monitoring using Sentinel-1

In this video, I demonstrate how to search and download three Sentinel-1 SAR images from the same orbit. Due to their similar image characteristics, those images are well suited for a multitemporal representation using an RGB color composite. After Downloading, the radar scenes are subsetted and coregistered in SNAP. The aligned image-stack is then used to produce a colorful picture of the three timesteps, where color represents time. The Aoi is the Maasvlakte in the Netherlands, an harbor-area with intense shipping activities, as can be seen in the final image.
