EDIT: I know Google removed the ability to add new annotations, but it seems my existing video annotations were removed. I think it's pretty self-explanatory, but let me know in the comments if there is anything that isn't clear. ******************************** All, I cannot take credit for the basic strategy used here, but I never saw anyone complete Mission 30 using it. Essentially you'll want to deploy with two key items: 1. Some type of Jeep 2. Smoke grenades (the more upgraded the better, to ensure the duration of the smoke effect is sufficient to get you all the way to the end of the base) Drop a smoke grenade into the jeep. It needs to land inside the jeep - you'll see me on the ground looking to see if it fell on the ground, then looking behind me to ensure the smoke was continuing behind the jeep. ...and that's it. Presumably the developers used some type of heuristic to determine whether or not you were visible outside the smoke and the result is as laughable as you see. I do end up with a combat alert at the end, but I probably could have avoided it either by turning the jeep right into the end of the base, or crawling away, or even dealing with the enemy in the Metal Gear. UPDATE: be sure you do not fall into the elevator shaft at the end where I park the jeep, it's just in front of where I park the jeep. Either way, even with a combat alert and a checkpoint restart (checkpoint restart occurred prior to the beginning of the recording), I had enough to score an 'S' rank. The alternative 'S' rank strategy is to creep through the whole base without detection, because you'll need the "No Traces" bonus to get to the 'S' rank that way, due to the large increase in time it will take. If anyone knows who came up with the strategy of putting a smoke grenade in your vehicle, please put his/her name below so they can get credit.
