Kearny Firefighters Rescue Women Trapped by Floods in Car on Passaic Avenue.... Just after 0000 Hours Kearny Fire Department Water Rescue REsponse was dispatched to Passaic Avenue and Johnston for a vehicle in the water that was occupied. SQ2 LT2 Car 2 Acting Deputy Chief Agnew arrived on scene requesting Engine 1 to respond with Marine 1 and 2. Marine 1 was deployed into the water and rescued 1 female from the car. No injuries reported.
