E-4B Doomsday Plane arrives at #RIAT (in 4k)

The E-4B (c/s GORDO 01) arrived at RIAT 2022 this afternoon 15th July 2022. It will be one of the stars of this years show. I decided to try to get the 'Nightwatch' arrival on approach to RAF Fairford, the clip shows its run in with wheels up to overfly the airfield. Then its wheels down turn in to RIAT approx 5 miles out. The E-4 serves as a survivable mobile command post for the National Command Authority, namely the President of the United States, the Secretary of Defense, and successors. The four E-4Bs are operated by the 1st Airborne Command and Control Squadron of the 595th Command and Control Group located at Offutt Air Force Base, near Omaha, Nebraska.
