Former police chief and civil rights attorney support Ohio legalization effort

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Former Cincinnati police Chief Tom Striecher and prominent local civil rights attorney Scott Greenwood are the latest backers of an effort to legalize marijuana in Ohio.Streicher and Greenwood back Responsible-Ohio's bid to get a measure on the November ballot that would set up grow sites around the state. Streicher said, as police chief, he saw firsthand what he called the destructive impact of Ohio's marijuana laws. Both men work together to consult with police departments.Responsible-Ohio said they do not work for the organization and were not being paid for their endorsement.
