Navigation and Ship Control Overview

Navigation and Ship Control NSWCPD’s Ship’s Control and Navigation office designs, develops and maintains in-house hardware and software solutions that meet the U.S. Navy’s evolving needs. The team is responsible for software design, hardware design, network engineering for ships currently in the fleet, as well as for future ship platforms. The office has the capability to duplicate issues experienced in the fleet, trouble shoot the source code or control logic, design the solution, and field it in a rapid manner.
