3/4-5/2015 Colerain Twp, OH Crews Battle Structure Fires on Sheits Rd & Venus Ln

Colerain Twp Fire and other assisting agencies battled back to back structure fires. The first was in an area without hydrants so numerous tankers were brought in to shuttle water. The home could not be saved and several dogs were unable to be rescued from inside. The second was a minor fire that started in a back bedroom. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and no one was injured. A fire hose was damaged when a careless driver ignored the emergency vehicles closing the road and drove onto the supply line.
