North India Shivers, Met Department Predicts Fresh Spell Of Cold Wave During New Year | CNBC-TV18

Cold wave gripped much of north India on Tuesday, as a dense blanket of fog settled over large swathes of the Ingo-Gangetic plains, blocking out the sun and keeping the mercury levels low. The Met department predicted the conditions will persist over the region for the next few days. The weather department also issued an orange alert due to the cold wave outbreak in the region.
