Tekken 5 - A Retrospective On The GREATEST Tekken
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, it is finally here. What a ride it was. Damn near burnt my laptop to a crisp getting this video done, but we made it! I put a ton of love and care into this one as this is my favorite Tekken game and one of my favorite and first games of all time period. Tekken 5 revived the series when its predecessor heavily underperformed, bringing fans back with tons of side content to make sure the game stayed fresh for years, and an awesome new gameplay system that takes the series back to its roots. A year later, they expanded on an already great game with Dark Resurrection, a rerelease that added online play and much more, and that brought the competitive scene back completely, jam packed tournaments and gatherings, the works. Let's talk about it, from the development, mechanics, story, extra content, Dark Resurrection, and so much more. I hope you enjoy, and try to ignore my lisp as sometimes it really comes out lmao. Happens during extended recording sessions. I should mention one thing real quick, one of the bits of footage of Dark Resurrection is not old, but is actually from 2022, lol.
