You’ll first want to select your desired weight by inserting the pin into the weight stack. 2. Next behind the seat, you'll see a lever. Raise this up and adjust the backrest position as needed. 3. Ideally, you'll want to adjust the backrest to ensure that your back is comfortable against the pad and that your knees are aligned with the pivot point of the machine, which is typically indicated by a red dot. This will ensure that the back of your knees are securely against the end of the seat. 4. While sitting down, you'll see two pins on your right. One will adjust the lower leg pad and the other will adjust the range of motion. 5. First, adjust the range of motion. Pull the pin towards you and set the starting angle so your legs start in a fully extended position without locking your knees. 6. Next, adjust the lower leg pad. Pull the other pin up, and position the pad so it sits comfortably just above your heels. 7. With your legs set, pull the top pin to lower the thigh pad against the top of your thighs. This will help keep your legs in place. 8. Grip the handles on top of the thigh pad and curl your legs downward, bringing your heels towards your glutes.
