2021 Ford Escape Tech Tip: Firewall Access (How to Wire Through Firewall)

This video will show you how to run wires through the firewall on a 2021 Ford Escape. First you will pop the airbox out which allows you to slide the battery forward and out of the way. You will see in the video, that we cut the end of a nipple on the factory grommet so you can run your wiring through that spot. We recommend using a lubricant to help pull the wire through. On the inside of the vehicle, we removed a little bit of the carpeting and very carefully removed a bit of rubber to expose the spot where you will run your wiring through.
