Reopening and A Touch of Disney - DISNEY Reporter
Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! Each week we share the top five Disney or geek stories of the week! This week, there is a lot to be excited about! First off, theme parks are starting to announce reopening dates in Southern California. The Disneyland Resort announced this week that it will be reopening its parks on April 30th. Knott's Berry Farm has also announced that it will be opening in May. An exact date has not been announced yet, though. Back at Disneyland, A Touch of Disney has opened at Disney California Adventure. It runs from March 18 - April 19th, ahead of the official reopening of the parks. The DAPS MAGIC team was there on opening day and is providing full coverage of the event. Over at Shanghai Disney Resort, it is time to celebrate its 5th anniversary. More details are being released about how this will happen. This includes a new nighttime spectacular, a "Surprise Squad" and more! Finally, production began on the new live-action Peter Pan and Wendy movie for Disney+. With an all-star cast led by Jude Law, it will be arriving on Disney's streaming service in 2022.
