IGHS and CDC’s Transformative HIV Initiative in Jamaica

Join us in celebrating the impactful journey of IGHS as an implementing partner for the CDC in Jamaica. Over the last five years, we’ve embarked on a transformative project to enhance Strategic Information (SI) and deliver comprehensive Prevention, Care, and Treatment (PCT) for people living with HIV. This pioneering initiative marks a first for both CDC in the Caribbean and GSI, showcasing a novel approach to data use and clinical quality improvement. In this 12-minute video, we take you behind the scenes of our collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) in Jamaica. Discover how we strengthened SI systems and provided targeted technical assistance and direct service delivery across six HIV treatment facilities. As we draw the curtains on this chapter, the reflections from key stakeholders shared in this video highlight the successes and lessons learned from the project and serve as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit of all those involved. From overcoming challenges to scaling up new, evidence-based initiatives in the healthcare sector, this video celebrates all we have achieved together in Jamaica.
